Working within community

Village Đulići

Work with persons who have missing family members in place Đulići, Zvornik municipality, was started in January 2008.

Place Đulići is settled around 12 km far from Zvornik. During the war (92-95) it was a place of calamity of 750 males from Đulići and around villages. Active return in Đulići was started 2001. Before the war in last official census from 1991, place Đulići had 1043 inhabitant, where are 97,98% Bosniacs and 1,62% Serbs.
2005 in Đulići were established organization "Anima" with aim to strengthen women rights. Women's are meet in specially rent house every day but weekend from 12 till 14 hours. Psychosocial work with women's who have missing family members is lead by two therapeutics with aim to give particular intervene to teach women's to deal with suffer consequences which they feel for many years and wait for identification and funeral, and court process for war crimes as well.

Village Liplje

In Liplje village on May 25 1992 by force were separated from other family members around 400 women's, childrens and males and kept in big house owned by person who was working in Germany before the war. During that time spent in house a huge number of women's were raped (number is still not known), tortured on many different ways with intention to humiliate and destroy spirit of settlements. Before arrest it was made research in houses. It was taken jewelry, money and other values, and then they are tortured by deficiency of food and water, by force separate and killed.

On June 2 1992 camp were liberated by local Serb soldiers who was secure the camp. During liberation was occurred killing of women's, childrens and males. Two years ago (June 1 2007) was opened monument near the house in which was camp for inhabitants.

Work with women's cover up psychosocial work with trauma consequences, making easier return and repeated integration in community with rebuilding of existing infrastructure which is important for development of social network and connection of past with emphasize on future
